We had a wonderful easter week. A lot of exciting things happened, Tristin got a new baby cousin (Krew) on thursday the 9th. We got to go down and see him and Kevin, Jess and Kamryn. Tristin had a lot of fun playing at the hospital, although she was a little tired from not really getting a nap that day, she did have a lot of fun. Then on Saturday we got to go do the Easter Egg Hunt here in Tremonton, it was much colder than we had thought it would be. It was quite cute to watch Caleb taking her around to get the Easter Eggs, I think he had more fun visiting with the other parents about the whole concept of it then he actually did picking them up. Then later that day we went and had a party with Grandpa Rohde's side of the family at peterson park here in Tremonton. We got to hide Easter baskets and Tristin was able to get out a lot of energy by running around with all of her cousins.
Then on Sunday we got up and had a nice breakfast with just the three of us (well technically four) and got ready for church. The funniest part of the whole day was that, while Tristin and Caleb were taking a nap, I decided to make a bow to match Tristin's Easter dress, using my new glue gun. Bad Idea, while in the process of the bow, I managed to burn two of my fingers with the glue from the glue gun. The glue in this one is much hotter than my previous glue gun. So I ended up waking Caleb up early so he could help me wash my hair and get Tristin's ready for church. Then we did end up going to church, where Tristin was as energetic as ever. After church, we went out to an Easter dinner with some of Sheryl's family, and the went out to have dessert with my mom's family in Ogden. So we had a full weekend.
But now that it is over, we are looking forward to everything that is ahead of us. I can get to focusing on the baby coming here in about 3 months. Caleb can get focusing on building his business more and more, and well Tristin can just focus on Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse Club House. I have decided that we are very blessed for everything that we have, and our amazing family that has been so supportive and loving with us. We look forward to the days to come for another niece and this little one to come along.
